Jumbie is one of my faves, but has gotten more and more crowded over the years. Typically its a self limiting beach because of the limited # of parking spaces. But I swear people just park in town and take a taxi.

Also, if you want a little privacy, you can head down the left all the way to the end and there's some serious privacy for some topless sunning (not that I am advocating it or anything- because technically it's illegal on STJ).

Funny about the vibes some folks mentioned, cause they do a lot of baptisms and weddings there, especially in the early AM.

Caution on the steps, that hill is steep going down and you have to watch your footing, especially when you're carrying your stuff ;-)
*Another fine scatterbrained production

Totally agree ... though we refer to them as bees. Often the life vests are yellow and black :) I personally LOVE Jumbie. Never got any bad vibes there. We were, very politely, asked to move once so a wedding could take place in a little private cove we'd commandeered. We gladly did.

A happy Flip-Flop by the sign!
