PSC Halves Cruz Bay to Downtown St.Thomas Ferry Runs

Post by Anthony »

From The Source: http://stthomassource.com/content/news/ ... ferry-runs

"August 12, 2009 - Public Services Commission members voted Wednesday to temporarily cut in half the number of ferry runs from Cruz Bay to downtown St. Thomas, but shot down a request to eliminate the runs entirely during the summer months."

I rode the downtown ferry a couple of times in July and it was pretty crowded both times.

Heck, if Captain Jay wants to do that he should run the ferry from San Juan to St. John - there are a lot more direct flights into San Juan than there are to St. Thomas, and think of how much booze he could sell during the crossing...
