Coral Bay Villa with sunrise views
Hi All,
I am planning a trip for January 2010 and would love some villa help. This will be our 3rd trip and we have previously stayed at Astral Villa on Calabash Boom and at Winsome House on Ajax Peak. Loved both of them but neither fit the bill for this trip. We are specifically looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom in Coral Bay. The road has to be entirely paved. Steep hills and turns are fine but no major bumps. AC is not a requirement. Would like a pool or hot tub but both are not required. Also, I would really love to see the sunrise. We are early risers and where we were positioned on Ajax peak, we just couldnt see it. Ideally it would be fairly private, not super close to other villas or the harbor. The pool at Winsome was fairly cool once out of the sun and this was in May, how would a pool be in January? Price would be ideally under $2,500ish for 2 people or $4,000 for 4. Thanks!!

look at either island horizons or waterlemon villa they are close to each other and have amazing sunrise views. If you PM me with your email I can send you photos of Island horizons and the view. There is a short unpaved section of road but it was not bumpy when we were there in April. We loved the location of Island Horizons.

This place is often booked solid, but sometimes has a week or two available: www.tradewindscottage.com The sunrise is unsurpassed!
When you find yourself in a hole.... quit digging.
Our first trip, we stayed at Windwardside Main, on Calabash Boom. It would only be a minute or two on the unpaved section, not too far up. Beautiful West Indian style cottage with a hot tub. Great sunrises! Very nice place with only 1 br, 2 ba. Susan was wonderful to deal with, had no issues. You will definately utilize the hot tub in Jan, we typically go in Feb and spend every eve in hot tub. I did write a review, but I think it was 2006. Good luck with your search.

Coral Bay for sunrise view
Take a look at monkeynoclimb.com
It's a new house near the very top of Bordeaux Mountain looking east and down on Coral Bay. Two bed/two bath, completely paved road and easy paved driveway. End of road privacy, large trees, unbuilt upon lots around the property, birds, breezes and quiet. Lists for $2,800 for two or $3,150 for four in high season. Ask about a discount for two people and see what happens.
