Happy St. Patty's Day! Any green drink ideas?

Post by sea-nile »

I am going to a party tonight. Does anyone have a good tropical green drink idea using rum?

One drop of green food coloring will do in any drink.

You can also make melon pina coladas with midori. Don't use too much, the flavor is strong.

I might be trying these today:

Green Grog
2 (12 oz) cans frozen limeade concentrate
2 (12 oz) cans frozen lemonade concentrate
2 (2 liter) bottles lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1 (750 milliliter) bottle rum
2 quarts lime sherbet

The only green drink I can think of is a margarita. Not very Irish!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
