I received this from a very reliable source. FYI for all the photogs out there.
FACEBOOK has agreed to let third party advertisers use your posted pictures WITHOUT your permission. Click on SETTINGS up at the top where you see the Log out link. Select Privacy. Then select NEWSFEEDS and WALL. Next select the tab that reads FACEBOOK ADS. There is a drop down box, select NO ONE. Then SAVE your changes. (REPOST to let your friends know!

I didn't see anything that even implied they were going to use my pictures for advertising. I'm pretty sure they would get quickly sued if using your photos were a default setting.

Cid, I got this notice a couple of weeks ago and tracked it down in my settings, and yes, there is a box checked by default that gives permission. It's really sneaky and underhanded if you ask me.
