From the number of PMs and emails I've had about this, I guess I need to state something: I never asked Joshie who he was nor did I "need" to know. My joke to him was based on many off-board conversations we'd had, which I now believe Joshie had with many, many people. I cannot make judgements on those conversations, but based on what was public as well as what I saw in my inbox, I do not think we, collectively, made Joshie do or feel anything he did not expect.

I took responsibility for it only because I know I was probably a contributor, but there was baiting going on, too. I agree with those who said it was fun while it lasted, though, because sometimes entertainment is entertainment.

Admittedly, I am one of those "many, many people" who were entertained by and who communicated with Joshie privately. I make no argument with remarks made here. There should be no blame toward anyone.

My goodbye to Joshie has been said. He has told me, as well as others, that he no longer wishes to participate on this forum - isn't it time to just let him go?

Joshie's interests elsewhere have also taken him out of the Virgin Islands - he is not on St John now.

I think some people take this forum way too serious and let it become a big part of their lives. Personally, I enjoyed Joshies posts and pictures and don't give a damn about who he really was. To me this forum is to give and get information about STJ, make a few new friends, share a few tidbits from my personal life and let it be a break from the hum drum of day to day stress.

Good grief, this Joshie character must have been busy as a bee with all this private messaging going on.
No wonder he had to quit his job at the Banana Deck.

Oh boy do I have a funny story about that Joshie

2008 the scene is Woody's. Me and Nicolle are sitting outside at one of the tables. Young scruffy dude walks up with a bag and places it on the table. Says to us "don't open the bag and leave it right where it is when you leave." Young scruffy dude walks away like nothing was going on.

We sat there drinking beers and just wondering about the bag that was box shaped. Was it a bomb? Was it drugs? It wasn't a bomb because I am writing this and it wasn't drugs because I didn't get high that night. Besides I don't get high.

I peaked and was totally BEAD-DAZZLED!

Went to the Banana Deck after for dinner and what do you know. Joshie kindly explained to me what that was all about.
