What a wonderful trip you had. The pictures are beautiful. The food pictures are making me very hungry. Love the gold outfits. I too loved the food in Spain and would love to return in the near future. Enjoy your time at your "cottage". Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

Since I'm looking for a different vacation experience next year, can I go with you on yours? The only problem is I can't do three weeks. And will people make fun of the way I talk? I also don't do nude beaches as I can't handle the people whispering.

Any way...hej hej!!!

hej, hej Bandit

I'm not quit sure, if I dare to go on vacation with you. Perhaps you are a Bandit?
Concerning a nude beach there should be one not so far away from "our" beach. Perhaps I will try it some day. Love to swimm naked in the sea, and I don't hear very well, so I will not notice if people are whispering.

Why are the ends of the rabbit legs wrapped in foil? Is that to keep the bones from burning while cooking? My grandmother used to make rabbit but it has been 20+ years since I had it.

.
PA girl I have to admit that I'm just an ordinary cook and I have never made rabbit legs. I thought they were wrapped, so you could hold the leg there :D

lprof. You can look forward to the beaches near Barcelona, they are better than the beach in Torrox. If you go a little south, Tarragona, you can find lovely sandbeaches.

Now you've got me very curious what happened to your cottage in Boennerup![/quote]

Margo, we are going to built a bigger cottage, and have taken a part of the cottage away. A very difficult decision. I have told about it in a topic

Thanks so much Linne; our Spain travel research has just begun. I'll look into the Tarragona area for sure.

Great report, I really felt like I was along for the ride! I love Spain and need to get Sweet Christine there with me for a visit. We'll likely go in March or April, so no beaches for us!

Cheers, RickG

Linne, I loved your report and of course all the beautiful pictures!

We had our Neat Sheet with us on the beach in Saugatuck MI last week, and another family with us had one, too. She said after seeing ours she had to get one. Same thing happened at the fireworks (celebrating US Independence Day) -- 2 other families brought Neat Sheets after seeing mine last year. So maybe you'll start a trend in Spain!

Loved the picture of your hubby's shoes. My son was Elvis for Halloween when he was in second grade. I made him a wild outfit with bell bottoms and sequins, and spray painted his shoes gold. I think the shoes were his favorite part! (No I take that back, it was probably the wig!)

Thank you for posting. All your pictures are terrific and that new mirror must be working wonders because you look beautiful!
