How do you get rid of moles?

This will not sound politically correct, but at our last house we had them, they come out of the woods, we were told to use diazanon to kill what they eat. Not sure you can even buy this any more. Spreading it a couple of times a season with a fertilizer spreader did the trick. Again not what everyone wants to hear.

Nanque has it right. Moles eat grubs. Diazanon kills grubs. The moles will leave for your neighbors grubs. I finally clued my neighbor in on this. The moles have had to move again.

There are also these spikes you can put in the ground that send a small shock wave into the soil. The moles hate that and should leave the area. I have seen these at the hardware store.
