Oh my goodness! You deserve a gold star for doing all of that on your vacation. I too would have been a little sad that the end was them being released, but, if they found their way home, they will likely be the villa cats and knowing that they won't have to worry about kittens because of you and hubby is wonderful!!

I've also been the victim of a nasty cat bite and hope your husband is recovering well!!
