We also had a good experience renting from DSJ. They were very responsive to all of our emails, the house we rented (La Mer) was in terrific shape, and they have a repeat guest discount. I would absolutely rent from them again, assuming they had a property I liked open for my dates.

I can't remember whether we had melted cheese in our gift basket. I do remember that there was something at the house for us though. However, after using DSJ, Catered To, Windspree, VRBO, and Vacation Vistas, I have to say that I think Vacation Vistas gives the best and most elaborate gift baskets. :D
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

This past spring when we rented from DSJ we were given the option of either a refundable damage deposit or just paying a non-refundable $35.00 ($25.00?) fee which acts as villa insurance. We chose paying the non-refundable fee. Nice option.

Also like the fact they take credit cards- more miles for future trips to STJ..... 8)

They are great!! We have used them for many rentals and only rent from them as their customer service, kindness, knowledge are the best! I also think their villas are well represented in the photos and superbly maintained. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. Response to any maintenance issue is quick and always resolved. We really look forward to seeing them when we arrive on St. John. They are part of what makes St. John such a special place.
