I've been a big-time lurker and a small-time poster to this forum. I LOVE the forum but I visit St. Thomas and will have only a day trip to St. John and there aren't too many posts for St. Thomas.

My question is would you be interested in a trip report from someone who will be spending most of her time on STT?

At any rate I can't wait to go, I'm sick of this grey New York weather. I want to be on white sand, facing blue water with a rum drink in each hand!

I would love a trip report from St Thomas!

It is so funny, this is my first post. I too have been lurking for a few months and will be making my first trip to USVI. I too am going to St. Thomas and planning one or maybe 2 days on St John. I will be there in 31 days!

I know myself, I will not do great with a trip report (especially with so many talented writers here), but promise pictures.

Paul, I'm with you in that I'm not as colorful of a writer as some but I'll give it my best shot. My dates are 7/18 to 7/25, what are your dates? We'll be at the Frenchman's Cove.

We plan on a day trip to Water Island so I will fill you all in on that too.

I would LOVE to read your trip report to St Thomas. We stay on St John but always spend a day in Charlotte Amalie. Our trip wouldn't be the same without a day of shopping on St Thomas.

We are leaving on July 23rd and returning on July 31st. We rented a condo at sapphire beach resort. We plan to go to St. John earlier in the trip in case we want to go back.

I do have to say the passion that folks have her for St. John really makes me want to go there! However, I do believe St. Thomas is a good choice for us for our first trip to the area. I love having a place with a snorkeling beach right there.

We will be taking a laptop, so I will be keeping up with the goings on here!
