I don't feel I have much to say this time around so I will tell the story through pictures. More pictures, less commentary. That's how I'm gonna roll.....
Villa=Calypso del Sol on Chocolate Hole Road. Very lovely, great location, easy drive. House has full AC but that wasn't really the reason it was chosen. The AC comes in handy if you are cooking inside or something like that but otherwise I preferred being outdoors.
I never got downstairs to take photos on the lower level but the website really have accurate photos if you are interested.
Outside
Screened porch which is a great feature
Kitchen
Living/dining area

I love trip reports with pictures. Thanks
The screened porch looks awesome with the lush vegitation. I also noticed the boat on the rocks.

I'm not really good at writing a lengthy trip report so pictures work fine for me..That villa looks beautiful! Too bad it's on the wrong side of the Island for us...
I hope you had a great trip Mary Beth!!

Great idea. Nice pics. Folks are always asking about specific villas so it's always interesting to see them up close. Thanks.

Thanks Mary Beth, great photos! My husband loves screened porches, I'll have to check this villa out - who did you book with?
How did your knee hold up?

My knee was cranky at times but overall ok. I did get to Honeymoon and Annaberg but that was about as challenging as it got for the old knee!
I booked Calypso direct with the owner at calypsodelsol.com but I think it's also with Viva!

Great-looking villa MB! I, too, love screened porches! It was probably a huge plus for you arriving toward the end of the mosquito storm!

Bev,
Calypso has a sister in Coral Bay, La Bella Villa. It's available through VIVA.

Screen porch - great, bedroom needs ambiance or at least some coordinated blues. The existing ones clash.
Paint the ceiling and cabinets white in the kitchen.
Hell, how hard is it to sell the tropics?
