Thank you for the "Home Coming"

Post by FlaGeorge »

Thank you all for a “Warm Welcome Back” – you guys are the best and I can feel the love. Thank you. I have some catching up to do on the forum and I look forward to reading the reports and seeing the pictures. It will be through your reports and pictures that I’ll be able to escape to the islands.

Also, I’d like to thank all of you for asking about Steph – that touched us both. She is doing great and this past February we went to M D Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for her 6-month check-up and the good news is that she is still cancer-free. As you might remember, she was diagnosed with Mesothelioma about 20 months ago and there is no cure for this cancer right now. But her surgeon (who is the chairman of the Thoracic Department) now refers to Steph as his “Miracle Patient”. He said that she is the first case at MD Anderson to re-act like this. He said that she still has the doctors baffled – but that it was a good thing.

Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend and thank you again for the warm welcome back.

Let me add my "welcome back" to all the others.

Keep baffling those doctors. We all need a dose of good news these days.

Hey George, sorry we missed you last time you were here, but I'm glad you don't have to come back as often. Tell Steph "hi" and I'm thrilled she's doing so well.

That's great news about Steph!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
