Introduction

Post by lust4life »

We are new to the forum, just located it about a week ago. Pete & I (Denise) are planning to relo to an island, not quite sure which one yet. We are from Southern NH, but in order to make our dream happen a few years sooner, Pete took a job (not one that he's crazy about) in Seattle. Hoping to plan a trip to St. Thomas within the year, until then I'll just follow the threads.

lust4life....First, I'd like to say that I freakin' love that! I hope we all have that lust for life!
Secondly, welcome to the forum. There's a really great group of people here that have a wealth of information. Ask away with any questions, and someone will definitely have the answer! I'm the forum smart-ass, so me not so much.... (Kidding!)
But happy to see you posting!! :D

Yeah? That's pretty big talk for one with a cherry up her nose.
Oh, yeah Lusty, welcome to the ward. Did you take your meds today?

Love your avatar!! Saw the pic of your dogs on Lovermont thread. I've never seen mini australian shepherds, but they seem to be the perfect size.

When we make the plans for our trip, I'll let you know. First started thinking of STJ because of Skinny Legs. Hubby knows Moe's cousin who told him all about the place and now hubby has the bug.

They are a great size - mini's can be between 25lbs and 45lbs, Coqui is approx 30lbs and Tiki around 18lbs so she is on the smaller end almost a toy size (yes they have toy Aussies as well  ) but I guess that's what you get when you are the "runt" of the litter, but she is slowly inching towards 20lbs - woo hoo when she gets there (she has has stomach problems so hopefully behind us now :) )

Let us know when you are on island - maybe we can meet at Skinnys - or just flag us down - you know my license plate :)

Welcome to the forum again - we're a fun group.

Welcome to the forum.

I can tell you will fit in on St. John. Living in NH through those long winter months, but moving to Seattle....yep
Life begins where the land ends!
