Underwater photo enhancing

Post by nancyr84 »

A while back there was a post with some really helpful info about editing underwater photos. I have photoshop but it is so complicated. Anyone have any ideas.

Nancy, start with "Auto Levels", if it works like it does for me, you won't have to do much else! Did you have your camera set on "underwater" when you too the pictures? Auto Levels doesn't work as well if you used your "underwater" setting. I'm happy to help if you need any more tips! :D

My daughter needed a better knowledge of Photoshop, so we both enrolled in a Photoshop evening course at our local community college. We learned together and had fun doing it.

Welcome to the forum shahawaii! I agree about the tutorials. Have you ever heard of Janee's Photoshop Tutorials? ( http://www.myjanee.com/tutorials.htm ) I don't go to the site often, but there are some excellent tutorials! :D

I took an evening class too. Photoshop is such a huge program that I would never have figured out some of it without a teacher and exercises & assignments. :)
