DEEP WOODS OFF!! THE SKEETERS ARE OUT FULL FORCE.Never seen any thing like this in our previous trips :shock: There everywere in the sun,wind, east end, north shore,skinny legs pisser, you can not hide from them. Massive quantitys of booze no help they love me and the gang but it's still been an awesome day :D Heading for Cafe Roma for some grub,more later. Oh snorkeling was great at Hawksnest alage was no big deal.

Oh boy...
We've been fortunate that we've never had a mosquito-infested vacation on St. John in the past, still I've always had a difficult time dealing with them. I am bracing for the impact of their fierce force this time. Thanks for the heads up, cptn.

Glad you had a great snorkel. I know the forest of Elkhorn Corals at Hawksnest is one of your favorites. Looking forward to freshly taken underwater shots!

we had that last august--it was intense. you had to be UNDER water to escape--it was nuts
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Ughh...You can maybe use this to your advantage and Mrs. Cptnkirk can rub Calamine Lotion on your bites later tonight? We call that "Island Foreplay"!
