Hair braiding

Post by aroobagirl »

Hi, looking for any information on hair braiding services in St. John, specifically for African American hair. I can't find the picture but there is a wooden sign on a tree in Cruz Bay, not sure if it is still there of if the person is still braiding. Any help/rcommendations appreciated!

For as long as I can remember there have been some ladies that set up right in front of the little row of shops near Morgans Mango (facing Morgans they are to the right).

The ladies are African American so I'm thinking they'd have you covered

I've never availaed myself of their servcies but they always seem to be there.

Thanks, Gromit. I think that is the where the sign is but I've never seen the ladies. I think my girls hair will fare alot better braided rather than just pulling into a ponytail. If you see the sign while you are down there would you mind jotting it down for me? Would like this to be a first day event so we can just relax and enjoy the rest of the trip! :D

A nice lady braids hair on the same side of the street as Mongoose junction by Margarita Phils. If she is not at her stand she has a cell phone number to call on her sign I think.

Yup, she is right next to Margarita Phils and St John Editions. Tell her that Miss Dominica sent you and she will take great care of you!
