ok lets continue.

Day 4 april 29

This was our 20 yr wedding anniversary. We did a day trip with fly away charters to the bvi. I chose fly away because they were in coral bay. It was a good choice. We were a little concerned before we left because they had issued small craft advisories and it was a little windy. We are boaters and were not afraid of the waves we just wanted to be safe. We met capt dan behind the fire station at the dock and he assured us it would be a great day and he was right. Once we got around the east end and into the drake channel it was a little rough. But after a long wisconsin winter we loved being out on the water. There is something about being out on a boat with the wind in your face that makes me feel alive. Our first stop was Jost to go through customs. We had to wait because the customs lady missed her ferry. We spent some time looking around and went to foxys, nothing going on yet it was too early. We then went to Sandy spit. The snorkeling was pretty good. While snorkeling I looked up at the island and saw a man down on one knee proposing to his girlfriend. After we got done snorkeling I saw them and commented that I saw his proposal and it was our Anniversary it was kind of sweet. Then the decision where to have lunch, capt dan thought we would like willie T's but I wasnt sure. We wanted to snorkel the indians and since it was close we did go there and it was very good. I wish we would have stopped by Soggy dollar, just not enough time. After lunch we snorkeled the indians and it was very good snorkeling, the algae was not bad in some spots and we a some good clarity. We did see a small shark and that was cool. Lots of nice coral. Then we headed back into the USVi and Capt Dan saw some friends of his on a catamaran and stopped to talk and they told him they were just in the water with 2 dolphin. We spotted them and headed over by pelican rock but it was too murkey and we did not see them while in the water. Pelican rock was a good snorkel anyway. Capt dan said we were about 20 ft behind the dolphin they just never turned back. It was a great day with Fly away and a wonderful anniversary. We then headed up to the villa to figure out what to do for dinner, we were tired and not up for a drive to cruz bay. We decided on pizza at the Donkey diner. Great choice. On the way in the chef was out side with their new puppy lucy and we got to talk to them for a while and pet the puppy. We split a salad which was very good the balsamic dressing was wonderful. Our pizza was very good as well. Great place we wanted to get back for breakfast but never did. The chef found out it was our anniversary and gave us a homemake cookie which was delicious. Another great day.

I have to get ready for work now. My tempory break back to the island is over for now. I'll try to do a few more days today if not soon.

Sounds like a great way to celebrate your anniversary. :D
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
