Is it just me or...
Is it just me or...
does everyone become less productive at work when the ticker is counting in days instead of months?
Every time I open my browser I have to check the forum for new messages...I think it is quickly becoming an obsession...
Is there a cure? And if there is, do I want it?

This part leading up to your trip seems to last SO LONG, as your wonderful vacation will undoubtedly fly by.
After ingesting "Island Time", and rolling with it, the days seem to jumble up, as you relax...
Then, sadly, it's all of the sudden, it's your last day.
Do yourself a favor, and recognize as much as you can while you're there. It should be a celebration, after all. Just slow down, and enjoy!
It's like sex; getting to the orgasm is half the fun.
Then, naturally, the "sex" is exquisite.
I just needed to say that, and I'm happy for you!
Hope I didn't sound too weird-

For me it's actually the reverse. The week before leaving to go off somewhere is fairly intense. I get somewhat frantic trying to set things up so that we can go away and not have to worry about anything back home. We don't bring laptops and don't check email while we're away. We turn off the cellphones and put them in the luggage along with the watches. We don't watch tv or DVDs. We do bring iPods and an mp3 player, but it doesn't get used much after the first few days. We do without all of these things that seem so essential at home and are just so totally content.
