Lucky Pagoda

I read somewhere that there was a new Chinese restaurant going in the Lumberyard called Lucky Pagoda. Does anyone know if it has happened? If so, how was the food?

They opened and then promptly had a kitchen fire but apparently the few days they were open business was good and food reviews were generally positive.

I think they got the kitchen back in order pretty quickly but were waiting on the health department to come and re-inspect.

I think the On St John blog and Frank Barnakos site had reviews...

Supposedly prices were good and a fairly typical menu.

Lucky Pagoda reopened last Thursday. And yes the food is great, the prices reasonable, and portions large. I have been there a few times, once after the fire. Get there early to beat the rush for lunch or dinner. They are busy because it is so good.
