Argonauta Villa Question??

Post by cass »

I found Argonauta Villa offered by two different villa rental agencies. I remember that this one is a favorite among some on here. Who do you rent this one from?

I found it on Vacation Vistas and Beach Nuts. The price is different on each site.

Thanks for any info.

Cass,

We stayed there earlier this year and used Lisa at Vacation Vistas, had no issues. She returned emails and questions promptly, met us and showed us around the villa, luckily we had no problems during the week that required their help.

There were 8 of us and we had a great time. If you are looking for a villa close to Cruz Bay, no neighbors and a great view, you will enjoy Argonauta.

Lisa at Vacation Vistas manages Argonauta. She is great! Very responsive and helpful. And Argonauta is a wonderful villa. Have a wonderful time!

Argonauta is my favorite villa for the location to town (feel like you are far away from town yet are VERY close), the views, and the option of a/c in the main house.

We rented through Lisa with Vacation Vistas (three times using them so far) and were pleased as always. If you do stay there, check the cabinets (especially the liquor cabinet) before you gead out because Lisa doesn't clean out everything that is left behind.

If you have any questions about it, pm me or post here and I will be glad to answer. I almost hate to rave about it for fear that it will get too popular.

The ONLY downfall to the villa (in my opinion) is that the driveway is shaped wierd so you either have to back out a long oddly angled drive to leave or back in when you get there. We always backed in when we returned home. It is not so bad that it would keep us from renting there, and it is in no way steep.

Thanks for the information everyone. I am planning this trip for me and 4 others, and I gave them a list of 9 villas to pick their three faves from. Believe it or not, Argonauta did not make their cuts! I am going to do a different post with more questions on the two that they picked as their faves.

I'm still holding out for Argonauta some day though!
