I first heard about this from a friend who'd seen it on ABC news:

pretty cool lex--
actually very cool--since it does appear that this is not the apparent result of stress (at least it doesn't from what you posted in that last reflection)--which seems to conclude (i just skimmed) that this behavior also occurs in the wild.
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

pretty cool news man, I have never seen anything like this before. there is no doubt that nature has lot's of surprise and wonders for us.

After I posted about the whales in Cape Cod Bay, it crossed my mind to bump this up.

Dolphins learning new stuff, whales gathering en masse. Coincidence? Or sign of the times?
