I have stayed at Bolongo Bay. Just a one night stay about 2 years back. I would encourage you to read Tripadvisor reviews----most people like Bolongo. It is well located on the beach, and the bar/restaurant, Iggie's, is kind of fun.

I'll be honest---I wasn't crazy about Bolongo. The whole place seemed very dated to me, but I am somewhat picky. The next year we stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef in STT and liked that considerably better.

Hi gobucs, I don't have experience with the resort but have stayed at the condos next door. I was not impressed with the beach area at all. If you can get a great deal then go for it, but on STT my preference is the East End or even the North side.

Enjoy!

Kathy

Yes, stayed there for one week. It is very dated. Bathroom, shower, etc is only room for one person. Beach is so-so. We stayed because of the price...almost free for a time share exchange from some friends. We spent the entire week taking the ferry to STJ.
