Itinerary change and ferry rides

We'll be arriving on STT May 2nd. Our original flight arrived at 430pm and now has changed to 6pm (bummer!). We've rented a car from Courtesy on STJ and they said they would meet us after hours. Question is, which ferry should we take this late? I hate that we will be arriving after dark. Fernando, the man who owns the house we are renting said he would meet us and let us follow him since we've never been to the island before...we are staying in Coral Bay.
Any info would be appreciated.

Just head for Red Hook. That will be best. If all goes smoothly you should be able to make the 7pm.

It's nice of the car rental folks to wait for you and especially since this is your first time on island -- you will need some guidance.

You'll probably take Centerline Rd to Coral Bay which is not scenic -- but it wil be dark so that won't matter too much.

It might be a bit intimidating at first but just take it one curve at a time!

Oh michelle, what a real bummer! On the bright side, you'll be anticipating sunrise like it's Christmas morning, and you'll probably be just as delighted! Our first trip is coming up in less than 2 months.
