iphone blog march 5

Post by gymnastika »

Well, today is when the storm came in and as you know, it was not a pretty day. It rained all morning till about 4pm. Here is my view today.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/35307278@N06/3331437067/" title="photo.jpg by sugarbird00, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3349/333 ... 2754_o.jpg" width="600" height="800" alt="photo.jpg"></a>

I had villa gravity BIG time. I was tired from all my excitement from the day earlier and mixed with the bad weather, who wants to do anything really anyway?? I lounged around but did take some pics of the cute place I'm staying.
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/35307278@N06/3331448485/" title="photo.jpg by sugarbird00, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3545/333 ... ea33_o.jpg" width="600" height="800" alt="photo.jpg"></a>
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/35307278@N06/3331449537/" title="photo.jpg by sugarbird00, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3392/333 ... d24e_o.jpg" width="600" height="800" alt="photo.jpg"></a>

And the resident cat:

Hung out at the beach bar with St. John Julie for a couple of hours and then had to run to the AT&T store to see if they could tell me what was wrong with my iphone, apparently it had locked up on me. FYI, if it locks up on you, hold down the power button and the round button at the same time for at least 10 seconds. It should then power off and reboot for 30 seconds.

Anyway, it's still pouring rain so I decide to go back to villa and relax. Well. lo and behold, the sun is coming out! I took a walk and went to check out the villa next door that's under construction. It's beautiful.

After much debate on where to go for dinner, I decided to go to Paradiso. The half-priced appetizers sounded really appealing and I knew their food is good. I was not disappointed. The sauce for the lobster ravioli should be illegal. So good!

I have to say that this day wasn't very exciting from a trip report standpoint as it was 1) bad weather, 2) villa gravity day, and 3) my iphone was on the blink, so not much picture taking. I hope not to dissappoint :(
I couldn't resist taking this of one of the Mongoose Junction cats. I'm sorry, but I really miss my cats. Of coarse not more than my own kids, though.

It's actually chilly and windy right now. I've had to close all the windows to keep the breezes from knocking me over!!

Okay, Friday's another day!

Glad you are making the best of things - crappy weather for sure :(

What's the name of the little apartment you are staying at (I forgot) - it looks soooo cute :)

Maybe I'll see you today as I'll be in town later this afternoon (after my rainy hike with my girls - not looking forward to that :)( ) as we have family arriving on the 5pm ferry.

Hope it clears up for you soon and so glad Paradiso did not disappoint - it's that sauce to die for

No doubt. The view rocks even on rainy days.
