We're staying at La Dolce Vita on Coral Bay when we go in May. Has anyone ever stayed there?

Michele,
We stayed there, in the studio apt in Dec. Loved it. Great location in Coral Bay, right on the water. Clean , comfortable. Well equipped. The owner Fernando is right next door if you need anything but you would never know he is there. Would be happy to answer any specific questions. Laurie

We are renting the efficiency also. I'm glad to know someone stayed there and loved it. Is it hard to get to from Cruz Bay? Our flight lands at 430pm, so I've been a little concerned that by the time that we get over to St John, pick up our car and head out, we'll be finding it in the dark.
Also, I know that Fernando charters his own boat for day trips. Did you do this and if so, how was his prices compared to others? We really want to take a day trip to the BVI.
Any useful info you can share would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

Michele,
You will most likely be finding it in the dark. We have stayed in Coral Bay many times and had driven by the house , so we knew the exact location. It is right on the main road, not hard to find but @ night you might drive right by. Maybe Fernando could meet you @ AquaBistro and you could follow him to the house. He did not have his boat rental up and running when we were there. His is very personable and I would not hesistate to spend a day with him, cannot comment on his prices in any comparison though.
Have a wonderful time. Laurie
