Congrats, Ruth.

Here are large thumbnails (an oxymoron). This is a great magazine to subscribe to! We've given subscriptions as gifts to our friends.

Oh my Ruth – you’re starting to scare me.

Ruth says:
I can't believe what a Pea Brain I am.
The other day I had a "split shift", which means I worked in the morning, had three hours off, then returned to work at night. I had the whole day planned around my trip to Starfish to check for this magazine.
By the time I went home, watered the plants on the deck, pinched back all the coleus, checked out the new stone sculptures on the beach in Frank Bay, got the car, chatted with the neighbors, picked up the laundry, stopped at the hardware store and Chelsea Drugstore, stopped in to the hobby store to see if they rented guitars (no, but they cost $210 to buy and they have three left) of course it was time to go back to work so I had to speed-shop at Starfish and rush home before the ice cream melted.
I completely forgot to look for the magazine. In fact, I forgot all about it until today when I saw this post.
Thanks for the reminder! I'll try again...If you have the magazine, please save it in case I get sidetracked again and need to have it scanned for our scrapbook.
Well, we don't actually have a scrapbook, but we have a bunch of papers that I will organize into a scrapbook. Someday.

What happen to “Island Time” – you sound like you’re in NYC or Tokyo with all that running around. I can see it now – I’ll be sitting at the Beach Bar and feel this breeze and say, “Ah, the Tradewinds” and the bartender will say, “No, Ruth just pasted you.”. I’ll be on the beach and see a blur – thinking my vision was blurry from the painkillers and the wife says, “No, that was Ruth.”. I will be driving (on the left) when a car approaches me real fast from the rear honking and flashing their lights – “Oh, it must be Ruth – better pull over.”.

Just kidding with you and can’t wait to meet you.
