Thank you Jan! I was expecting it to be cold--I was cold in April! I'm going to check it out when we get there, and if my board shorts and rash guard are not enough, hopefully low key will have suits we can rent. I did not ship anything down in advance this time so I won't have room in my luggage to bring one down with me.

Thanks for the restaurant feedback too. I'm honing my list of where I want to eat. It keeps growing!

6 days to go! :D

Becky - just wanted to respond to your reservations question since we just got back. We called same day for our reservations and had no trouble getting a table for 4.

We ate at Waterfront Bistro, Zozo's, the Equator, and La Tapa. Loved them all. Zozo's and LaTapa were on the busy side. We called each day, probably between 2 and 3 o'clock, and had no trouble getting a reservation around 8 pm each night. I think the latest time we reserved was 8:30 at LaTapa, and then they called us back to say they had a cancellation and took us at 8:15. We actually waited at the bar for awhile before our table opened up, but that was not a problem.

Cruz Bay was really slow at night. Compared to the past two years, around the same time of year, it was like a ghost town. Really strange. Many shops closed at 6 pm; we were doing some jewelry shopping and could only find a handful open past 6. Mongoose was really dead, only a few shops were open. Very different from last year. I saw Slimman's lot was practically empty each night too. Definitely less people driving and walking around than we were used to.

You should have no trouble getting a dinner reservation. Safe travels.
