Gardenia - anyone stay there recently

Trying to to a cheap trip (LOL). Airfares down to $310 out of DCA for June. I read a comment from years ago that Pia said it was tired. Can probably live without the view, but old linens & towels and saggy bed, not sure. Any other studios/one bedrooms you have stayed at recently that have fit the bill?

We stayed in the upper unit Palemeno in Nov & it was in good shape. We did take a quick peak in the Gardenia & it looks clean. There is no view as you are basically in the basement. There is a small hot tub on the patio.

You may try for the upper unit, I donèt beleive it is much more. It does have two good size bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. In this unit you can see St Thomas.
