Stone Terrace fans...a ?

Post by Pete (Mr. Marcia) »

The Stone Terrace always was the place we went for our "fancy" night out. It also was a place where we could hang by the bar, chat with Allen and Dave, and just chill.

If there are any other Stone Terrace orphans out there, where would you suggest we go in the future?

Alan bartends over at Waterfront Bistro. You can go chill with him there for a "similar" experience. Walter Hinds (former Stone Terrace Chef) has his own place now, Hinds (old Tage spot), so you can get a similar meal there. For something new, there is La Plancha del Mar (old China Shack spot in the Marketplace). They are having their grand opening today. I went there a couple of nights ago for their soft opening and it was super yummy. I literally licked the plates clean! Then there is my long time favorite, La Tapa. Great wine selection and Peter, the bartender on several nights, is very personable and an all around cutie.

Waterfront Bistro --- very nice atmosphere but not stuffy. Beautiful bar. Nice views. You can't go wrong!

I loved the bar at Zozo's. Best view on the island and Carlos is great!

Good suggestion Julie. We never thought to hang at the bar at Waterfront. It is a nice setting.
