Info on Fish Bay

Post by jdw »

We are staying in Fish Bay for the first time in May and I am not familiar at all with that area. One day we want to visit Drunk Bay, Salt Pond Bay and the Tourist Trap. What is the best way to drive over to that side of the island? Also, does Salt Pond have any shade?

Thanks.

Sj is right on in terms of getting to where you want to go.

We usually stay on Fish Bay. It is beautiful out there. Depending on where you are, you can look out over reef bay all the way to Ram's Head. And, because there are fewer lights, the stars are so vivid.

In my opinion, it is the most beautiful part of the island.

you can find shade at salt pond--if you take the spot that is the first one on the beach (there is a picnic table there) just after the 'facilities'--that is very shady--there are also some areas further up that you can find some ok shade in--but it is a fairly sunny spot
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
