Underwater Cameras
Underwater Cameras
I have been searching Ebay and Craigslist for months looking for underwater set-ups to use on our April wedding trip. Well, everything came together last week. I bought a Nikon Coolpix 3200 camera (used) and a brand new, never opened Nikon underwater case for it (good to 130 feet). I picked up the pair for $90.00 on Ebay.
Then, I found a Olympus Stylus 400 camera and Olympus underwater case for it (both used). This case is also good to 130 feet. I found this set on Craigslist here in Minnesota for $50.00!! I'm sure my kids will have fun shooting when they snorkel.
There do seem to be some really good prices on this kind of equipment right now, but you have to check all of the time and really dog it.

NICE score Rickst! I got my Canon UW housing on ebay too.
Craigslist rules too. After unsuccessfully trying the fancy paid ads to sell my Subaru, a friend said hey, try Craigslist. Boom - sold in 4 days. The paid ads in the paper and on auto websites seemed to appeal to people who wanted something for close to nothing, whereas the Craigslist ad brought in "Subaru people".
