Here is last night's dinner, another islandy meal. It started out as jerked chicken, but since I had to make it in my crummy oven instead of on the grill, it was getting cooked through before it was browning enough, so I put a honey glaze on it to give it good color. So, honey jerked chicken, I guess. I really liked the black bean dish--I put a lot of Trindad Charlie's lime sizzle sauce in it.

Chicken bolognese with dried porcini mushrooms and fresh sage, over buccatini. My pix are always slightly blurry, I'm not sure why. !

I just bought the stuff to make that tomorrow or Monday, Mary Beth. It looks so great !
I went to this awesome store here in MA that liamsaunt recommended. I got so many usual items, including the white soy sauce she mentioned. yay.

tonight we had spicy fennel shrimp over whole wheat linguine with roasted brussel sprouts which I shaved a little manchego over. yummy!
