Need some quick flight help

Post by alw1977 »

Question - I've never flown into STT before. We live in a suburb of Atlanta which is about 2.5 hours from Charlotte, NC. We can get a deal for $325 a ticket out of Charlotte right now (non-stop) whereas the cheapest non-stop out of Atlanta is $688. Our trip is in July. Is that $325 fare too good a deal to miss or are those type of fares common from the Southeast? Opinions welcome as I realize none of us own a functioning crystal ball.

Delta fares out of ATL usually drop in March

Post by Gromit »

Depending on when you need to fly, if you can wait until March, Delta's fare offerings are usually the lowest in March. I was just looking at those fare algorithm sites a couple of weeks ago and that was what I found. I would hang tight for another couple of weeks and I think you'll be surprised.

Go to farecompare.com to track fares. You can sign up for e-mail service to notify you when the fares go down in price. We are going in august and i am using the service to catch the fares when they go down.
