Caneel Beach access

liamsaunt -I did exchange emails with her. The original watercolor is only about 8x14, and she wanted $600aud for it which is about $475usd.
That was a bit much for me at the time. She had also mentioned she was thinking of making some giclee prints from it after she entered it in an art show and that would be about $100aud (~$80usd) which might be pretty cool to get and frame (if she still has it).
Thanks for jogging my memory - I think I'll follow up with her on that.

Thanks everyone, as always, for all the info. Looks like we will definitely be doing a Caneel day. Can't wait!

Sue and Rick - according to our oh-so-sweet new calendar it looks like 7 forumites will be on STJ on Friday, the 27th. Perhaps a forum toast at the Beach Bar Friday evening???

jmq, if you find out she did make prints of it, you should post a link to her site here. I bet others (OK, me, at least) would buy a print, if that is the price she decided on.

AARRGGHH!!

Friday the 27th won't work for us - as we are heading over to Secret Harbour for Friday & Saturday - and will most likely be catching an early afternoon ferry over to St. Thomas.

So, for us, any night beginning Sat the 21st & ending & including Thursday, April 26th would work for us!

But, of course, would understand if you folks decided to stick with the Friday. In that event, we would just hopefully "run into you" somewhere else during the week.
