Mommas Boy is on tonight

Post by Connie »

I'm a sucker for reality shows and Mommas Boy is on tonight on the WE channel at 9:00.

I'm going to try watching it only because I want to see (maybe) STJ.

Survivor is done, so oh well...why not.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

Hi Connie, I did the same thing on Tuesday night
hoping to get glimpses as well...
I was disappointed cuz that beautiful
mansion is in Santa Barbara and not STJ. :(
As gorgeous as Santa Barbara is even.
I guess that comes later on into the show
I only saw a couple of shots of the ruins
and I think Maho from a future clip they ran.

Boy, I tell ya one of those moms is BRUTAL! I was actually embaressed for her

I'll be tuning in periodically looking for glimpses though. Have no clue when it comes into
the show.

Enjoy,
Kathy

I had my wife DVR it while I was away this week. Last night, I started it up, heard "Santa Barbara", got a dirty look, promised that Jeff would never lie to us, deleted the episode, and vowed to watch for news when they went to StJ

We were disappointed too that it has started in Santa Barbara, although that villa is beautiful.

Did see scenes of STJ, so I guess they're going to be going there.

I remember a post where there were alot of posts where people were bummed that they were doing it in STJ. Maybe they move to STJ? Who knows.

Yep...that one Mom is unbelievable and thank God those girls were standing up to her.

Glad my Mother in Law was not that quite of a B*****

Thanks for explaining that the first part was not in St. John, because I missed that part. I texted Margo and told her I was not understanding why a villa on St. John would have a fireplace. And all the non-native landscaping -- it was making me crazy. I'm very happy to know it was Santa Barbara. It makes more sense now.

From the previews for future editions, they will be arriving on St. John at some point because I know I saw sugar ruins.

Other than that, the show is absolutely dreadful. I don't know if I can bear to watch again.

Even though I'm disgusted that they filmed part of the show on STJ, I still had to watch to try to catch a glimpse of my favorite place in the world. There were preview scenes that were definitely STJ, though it will be difficult to keep watching and waiting to see the island.

Lulu, as for a fireplace not belonging at a STJ villa, the place we stayed in June had a fireplace...and yeah, it was nice to look at but kinda strange (it's under the TV):

OK, now that I've seen an actual fireplace on St. John, I am more confused than I was previously.

Why? Does anyone know why? Am I missing something? Maybe that villa has really good air conditioning and people get a chill, but I always feel like I am sleeping IN a fireplace on St. John, and I just can't see myself lighting one up. Baking a cake almost did me in last time! Too hot!

I have to admit that my secret shame...well one of my secret shames is the reality show Housewives of Wherever. Good grief I'm so ashamed. I can't not look. It's a study of human behavior.....and not in a good way.

Hey Teresa, what villa is that? Looks nice! Like Lulu, I would have no need whatsoever for a fireplace there...Looks cool though.

Sol Inclination in Skytop (upper Fish Bay).

It was an awesome place but so far away from everything that we probably wouldn't stay there again. I spend enough time driving while I'm not on vacation, I don't need a lot of it while I'm on STJ :)
