Caneel Bay Inclusions

Post by turtlegirl »

You have all given me so much information, I'd like to share what I've found upon doing Caneel Bay research, although I know many of you prefer villas.

If you book Caneel Bay through Virtuoso, the cold buffet breakfast served from 7:30-10:30 a.m. is included. This is a value of $23 pp per day and you can get the $29 hot buffet brekfast if you pay the extra $6 pp. For a week's stay that's a value of $322! You also get a room upgrade "if available". plus a couple of other little perks.

If you book through whatahotel.com you get the lunch buffet included. I don't know the cost of this as I didn't investigate further because I didn't want to be tied down to eating lunch at the resort.

Believe it or not, the breakfast is what sold my hubby on staying here as he loves his breakfast AND he loves his wallet!

My husband is a HUGE breakfast eater and even when we don't stay at Caneel, he still makes a point to take us there for breakfast at least once a trip.

We generally skipped lunch while staying there as we were so full from breakfast, it carried us until dinner.

Just got a confirmation from the Virtuoso travel agent. It seems that for 2009, it's now the full Americn breakfast (the hot buffet) that's included with the Virtuoso booking.
