Ferry to Jost

Post by Gromit »

Just checking-- does the ferry to Jost leave from the Cruz Bay dock or another dock??

I am totally drawing a blank on this for some reason.... and the various web sites don't indicate...

I don't know if it's technically considered the National Park Dock, because I have heard it called that and the "inter-island ferry" dock. But it leaves from that dock over from the regular ferry dock. I think they said it's where the car barge used to be, but that was before my time.

Does that help you? The dock with the parking lot where you're not allowed to park and the little trailer to buy your tickets.

It is the dock right across from nature's nook.
It is next to Uncle joe's BBQ.
We used to use it for the car barge but now that is over on Enighed Pond.......

Gromit:

When you walk through the gate go to the trailer on the right. They sell the tickets there. When I was there a couple weeks ago, they told me to arrive by 8:15am for the morning ferry.

XOXO
