St. John Dining Blog Updated for November

Post by Robin in NC »

Well, as many of the STJ restaurants took a break this fall, so did my dining blog. Or, more accurately, so did I. Anyway, the older posts have been pruned and newer ones added. I'm confident visitors will find it useful, since it reflects the experiences and opinions of St. John's most devoted travelers - you!

Hey Robin

Love the blog! Great source for mapping-out our eating options for our spring '09 trip.

Any info available on cost expectations for these restaurants (you know, the old $$..$$$..$$$$...Ouch! system). I really liked your price info in your trip report but I need more, more I say!

Sure, I expect to pay, but I like to plan my extravagances around my cheapies.

Dave, thanks for the nice words. I decided not to put the typical price guide on the listings, primarily because they're injecting my opinion, and I wanted the blog to reflect travelers' views, not mine. What I've done instead is link to restaurant Web sites where available, and they often have a typical menu for review. That's as close to actual prices as you'll find. Hope that helps...

Thanks, Robin. I understand. Several do have menus w/prices and that helps.

Heck, half the fun is research & planning anyway, right?!?
