Meet Cruzy
A little background. The day we left for our May trip this year our loving pet of 13 years passed away. This laid heavy on our minds for the whole trip. When we got home last week from our Nov. trip there was just something missing for us at home. She is a 6 week old Beagle that we named after our favorite place on earth.

Oh how precious! Congratulations.....nothing better than a new baby to fill a home with joy.
If you don't mind my being a buttinsky I'd like to offer a suggestion. 6 weeks is on the young side for a pup to be seperated from his mom and litter mates. It is very important then that he have other pups or gentle dogs to socialize with as soon as possible, as often as possible. If there is not adequate socialization with other dogs between now and 12-14 weeks your dog may have aggression problems with other dogs in adulthood.
One of the best training resources I've found is How to Be Your Dog's Best Friend by the Monks of New Skeet. They have studied canine behavior and development for years and really do know what they are talking about. Whatever you decide to do have a ball with your new baby!
