Speaking of Karma (not political!)
Remember Gringo and La Gringa from the Turks and Caicos Islands, that battled two hurricanes this past summer (La Gringa has since become a member of VIOL)?
Well...this is good Karma!

Thanks for the post!
I subscribe to VIOL (among many others) in my Google reader and your post gave me a big smile this morning.
Every day we are inunndated with news of bad people doing bad things. Very rarely do you read about good people doing good things. And believe it or not, this was not the only offer we had.
Our benefactor had just sold his company (and luckily, just before the stock market tanked). He is a blog reader and we still haven't met him. But he will always be my hero.
He's giving us back our lifestyle and everything we love most about living here. It's been a tough few months looking at our trashed boat in the driveway knowing that it will take a long, long time to get her back in shape. Of course, he has an open invitation any time to visit the TCI as our guests. He's talking about driving his new boat down here from Florida once he gets her in the water and does the shakedown.
More than good karma, it feels like divine intervention!
Back on the water soon.... YESSSS....!!!!!
