Delta sold????

On my way out the door this morning, I thought I heard
that Delta was sold to??? Did anyone else hear anything about a merger?

Yep, the merger with Northwest was approved by DoJ.

delta aqcuired northwest....not sure what that'll mean in terms of schedules and flights...
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

We got great times and the price was what I would consider pretty darn good too, on Delta for April 09.
Hope this merger doesn't cause a problem.

That's the email I got yesterday from NW. No, I didn't write the part in bold, they (NW) did.

Nope, I doubt it will affect your plans. The airline will continue to operate as Delta and they will maintain their ATL hub. I'm guessing you're flying through Atlanta on your way to STT? If so, I seriously doubt you'll have major changes.
