I booked Peterbay Gatehouse for May 7th-14th, has anyone stayed there before? I booked the upper villa.

Great choice. You'll love the view and location. Although we haven't stayed there, we have stayed at Coco de Mer, which shares a driveway with the Gatehouse. You're just minutes from Trunk Bay, and the view is truly to die for.

Thanks for the responses so far. How was the beach on Peter Bay? I heard it wasn't that great & a pain to find.

When we stayed in Peter Bay there were northerly swells so there really wasn't any beach left. If you go during a calmer time of year (e.g. summer) the beach might be bigger. Its a bit tricky to find the first time---you just need to know the path---ask around.

The Gatehouse is awesome! We were in the lower unit in October and no guests were in the unit above. The views and location cannot be beat for the price! You made a great decision . . . enjoy!!

Welcome to the forum LSU Beach Tiger! I'm sure that you will love staying at the Peter Bay Gatehouse. The view from there is beautiful and you are very close to beautiful beaches.

I'll open the gate if u honk the LSU Fight song -so get to practicing! Have fun on your drunken tour-I'm sure we'll run in to yall & won't be hard to find on the island--watch out locals!
