Chart boats to/from St John to Foxys on NYE?

Post by dr_trousers »

We are thinking about going to St John over New Years Eve week and would love to go to Foxy's for NYE. Are there charter boats, sort of like snorkeling day trips, that will take you to Foxys that night?

Check out Captain Kevin (borntorhumb.com) I remember someone asking last year and Kevin did offer to a charter bringing them to Foxys for the party and then back to St. John. Don't remember any details, sorry :)

By the way - Captain Kevin is great - I highly recommend him.

Thanks for the info. He's booked.

Hey doc! Are you planning to spend the night, or did you want to go back to STT/STJ after the party? Could you take the ferry over earlier in the day, and then ferry back the next day?

P.S. Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome. Ideally, we would like to return after the party. Can't image there even rooms available, and at what cost?

I can't advise you on what's available on Jost as far as accommodations, but there are definitely places to stay. Maybe all booked up for NY's eve, so I'd start checking now!

someone on the other forum mentioned calypso charters--they will go over to jost on new years eve and return about 2:30-3 am on new years day--i think it was 175/pp with a $25 customs fee. not sure what it includes, but you could contact calypso charters via email--apparently this sold out last year.

good luck!
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

This is exactly what we did. Booked 4 of us. They take care of customs, it's open bar there and back (like I will need the back part) and you have access to the bathroom on the boat, so if there are lines at the bar, you can always go back to the boat. So looking forward to it. Thanks for your help!
