knock on wood....we haven't even had one flicker all day. The wind is really kicking now, I wish I could see outside. We have the shutters closed, but I guess that's a good thing.

I am at Villa Caribe, around the bend from Gallows Point. Blowing more here than in Klein Bay. Power has flickered, still have phone, lights & Internet.

I spoke too soon. We lost power about a half hour ago. Good thing my trusty iPhone still has the Edge network.

I'm hearing some pretty good gusts of wind out there. I keep hearing a sound thats weird, kinda like when you blow over a glass bottle.
