Where is Joe's Rum Hut? Jan. to do list..

Post by P-600 »

I noticed someone talking about it but I am not sure where it is. Can you let me know what it's all about.... just drinks... food...is it an actual hut on the side of the road?

January to do list:
Honeymoon Beach
Visit the tea guy in Coral Bay
Joe's rum hut
BVI trip
hike Reef bay down at least (hubby is not too interested in that one)

Hey there...Joe's Rum Hut is located in Wharfside Village in Cruz Bay. It has kind of a funny location, outside inbetween Waterfront Bistro and the Beach Bar on the bay side. As far as I know, they do not serve food there (I could be wrong on that). I have never stopped there, because I usually just blow by on my way to the BB. Pretty cool little place though.
July 2003 - Honeymoon at The Westin
July 2004 - Glenmar, Gifft Hill
July 2005 - Arco Iris, Fish Bay
December 2007 - Dreamcatcher, GCB
July 2008 - Ellison Villa, VGE

Okay,
I know where it is... the little place on the left on the way to the Beach bar... Do they have a pool table. I think I bought my kids an ice cream in there on our way to the BB.

Joes Rum Hut does not serve food but Senorita Pizza is right next to it. The bartenders were fine with us getting a piece of pizza while we were sitting there...they have GREAT Mojito's....The Mango Mojito's are our favorite...

The Rum Hut is great. I think all shopping "villages" should have one.

No Food at Joe's, but CRUZ BAY PIZZA is right across from it. (Senorita left awhile back) Joe is associated with the Rum Hut, Waterfront Bistro, Captain's Cabin, and Cruz Bay Pizza. I think he is planning a hostile take over of the entire complex in the upcoming months  No pool table, that sounds like Larry's Landing, which has moved out of the complex to across the street, and the Parrot Club (video gambling) is in it's spot and the spot where the gallery used to be. There is iScream near Low Key, closed at the moment for renovations, but should be opened back up in not too long.
