The margarita seemed like it was out of a machine to me. I wasn't impressed with it.
The food I thought was average and I thought for the type of food/place it was, prices were high.

I have to agree with promo, chrisn and mary beth. The margaritas leave alot to be desired....think he uses some kind of mix...not sure what :? IMHO, the food is not great though not awful. We did go there twice in September, simply because our dining options were so limited....I was hoping that the second time he would at least have lobster tacos, but no cigar.
Given a choice between Margarita Phil's and Morgan's Mango...Margarita Phil's gets my vote. Morgan's Mango has disappointed twice....not likely to get a third chance....mia

John and I did not like the margaritas at Phils either. They were way too thick. I could not even come close to finishing mine. My favorite margarita is just fresh lime juice and decent tequila, on the rocks, with a thin salt rim. No other fruit, no sugar rim, no frozen, nothing blue.

And, we don't like Morgans Mango either, having experienced less than stellar food and service there.

Hum, I am being negative. :x I'll end with something nice: We really enjoyed the food at Shipwreck Landing last trip--I had the fish tacos off the specials board, and they were tasty!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.
