Baseball

The Cubs are out ... I REALLY wanted the Cubs this year. Well, once my own team was out of it ;)
Now who do I root for? I guess it's gonna have to be the Rays. Can't even believe it
I guess you can say they got the Devil off their backs this year!

GO RED SOX! :D

Last night's game was TOOOOO long! I actually fell asleep on the sofa in the 10th innning. I woke back up at 12:30 and they were still on! Crazy!

Here is hoping for a better (and faster!) result tonight.

Phils look like they are serious this year.

I'm rooting hard for a Dodgers - Red Sox World Series.
Dodgers? I can't. I still harbor hatred from the Ron Cey days. I'm not over it ;)

What is this baseball you speak of? I seem to remember a game like that from long ago, but in 1994 the greedy rich owners and greedy rich players decided to take the World Series away from the fans.

Baseball has been dead to me ever since...

Two of my biggest loves (besides St. John) are music and baseball. There's a great new album by a group of musicians that call themselves "The Baseball Project". A dozen songs about some of the well known and lesser known characters in the game. Here's a clip of their performance on Letterman:

I think a Red Sox--Dodgers series would be wonderful. Manny, Nomar, Lowe, plus Joe. Back in Boston. The Nation would love the chance to welcome Manny back. The history, the games within the game. The Rays, though....

Go Red Sox - enough said - at least until Thursday morning..

Red Sox - Dodgers world series would have such great drama.

That would be a tough one for you Mary Beth.
