Cat, the most important location on SXM? Orient Beach - nekkid beach. Some DC friends of ours do a nekkid July 4 parade there every year. What started out as a party has become an annual event.

Red, White & Blue body paint anyone?

We will have just gotten back from St John so I guess we won't be there for the party! Maybe another year!LOL!

Cat, the most important location on SXM?
Baie Rouge...the French locals come to the beach, remove clothing, sun & swim. Several beaches on the French side are beautiful and quiet. Orient can be Mardi Gras busy.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

I would probably like the quiet better but for a party the other would be fun!

Cool we loved Orient beach will go back someday. Cool how the nudies and clothed mix. I'll never forget seeing the old guy with his grandaughter walking on the beach together nude, told him that would never fly in the USA. Those crazy French may be on to something the body is nothing to be ashamed of but I tell ya you see every body type thats out there and some ya might not want to see nude :lol: :lol:

In Feb 2007 we rented an outrageous villa on St Martin with 2 other couples for 10 days and had a blast; The name of the villa is Happy Bay and it compares favorably with the most upscale villas on St John. You get so much more for your money in St Martin, particularly in high season. St Martin is a no brainer in the winter. PM me if you want more info on this villa.
