Connections Hours

Post by Gromit »

Anyone know what time Connections closes on Sundays?

I looked all over their web site but I can't seem to find their biz hours anywhere-- I think I'm going blind...

I checked with VIVA aboutmailing a package to their offices and I think they want to charge me $100 if I do... is that right?

This is our first rental with VIVA and the chareg seems a bit excessive...

FYI -- Just got an e-mail from Connections.

They are closed on Sunday and open at 8:30 am in Cruz Bay and 9:30 am in Coral Bay (week-days.

If anyone is thinking of shipping a box down in adavance we have used them before and they are great.

Anyone else had any experience with other similar services on island?

You can ship it to me for $99.00    (just kidding)

Seriously, if I'm on island you can ship it to me for free as long as you can make arrangements to get it :)

We are in Cruz Bay always on Wed, Fri, and (most) Sat and Coral Bay all the time - let me know.

Thanks Pia! You are sweet. We're actually staying in Coral Bay and should be getting to our Villa by 6:00 pm.

I don't want to impose. I totally don't mind paying someone to accept the package but VIVA's price just seems ridiculous.

I'm glad to hear that you can do this at Connections in Coral Bay as well as the one in Cruz Bay.

Any idea what time the one in Coral Bay closes? We get in on Friday afternoon and it sounds like if we don't catch them before they close we'd have to wait until Monday.

They should be open Saturday. Just not Sunday.

I'd imagine they close around 5:00 pm.

I'm pretty sure they're open on Saturday but only until 5 p.m. or so.

Our villa owner also recommended the Mail Center at the Marketplace (I think that's the name), but I don't know anything about it.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I contacted Connections about our upcoming trip and they couldn't have been nicer/easier to deal with.

They said that they recommend shipping via USPS Priority Mail one week ahead of our departure, asked us which location we'd prefer to pick the package up from, and said that their fee was between $5-$10/package depending on size/weight of package and how long they had to hold it.

They also said that they'd notify the Connections East office to be on the lookout for a package addressed to mein late October.

This makes perfect sense, but for those that have done it before is that what you've done - addressed it to yourself at the Connections address?

I would give yourself 10 days via USPS PRIORITY MAIL - the average for me is 7-10 days (picked up a package yesterday, Wednesday, that I mailed to myself from Kansas City the previous Monday, so 9 days inc weekends)

I have hads a few things arrive in 5 days (once I think) and the longest was 6 weeks - yes that too was Priority :)

You can try The Mail Center. Mailcentervi.com. If you call them you might be able to work out a time to pick up your package. 340-714-7250 or e-mail mailcentervi@earthlink.net
